Used Pontoons How Do You Prevent Barnacles From Attaching To Alluminum Pontoon Boat Used In Salt Water And Brakish Water?

How do you prevent barnacles from attaching to alluminum pontoon boat used in salt water and brakish water? - used pontoons

I have a new Avalon pontoon boat that has been in salt water for a month. Recently, I took it out and found a considerable amount of baricles on the pontoons and the motor is attached. What can I use to reduce this problem or prevent. I have a pressure washer to remove the engine, and many pontoon Barnicle, but parts of the pontoons can be achieved, while in the trailer. Even directly after Power Washing with water, there is a flatness of the pontoons. What can be done to eliminate the bumps and the layer of the pontoons.

+ You must first all necessary barnacles off. If that means lifting the pontoon boat trailers in one section at a time is what we do. Be very careful, and blocked the place and age, where Dun there is no risk of falling on you or get stuck on. They have the boat go as smooth as you can clean. The surface is smooth, the better. I've seen people with a good quality paste wax to make it smooth and I am obviously not as a driver driving a layer of soap used to soften the background and prevent barnacles, but the solutions that they are very short time, as barnacles are ubiquitous. The permanent solution is to use a good picture of the seabed, at least two layers. Even that is not the whole season. Interlux and Petit are the ones that have been tried.
Good Luck and safe working
